I found the coolest pack of filled Easter Eggs at my local grocery store and I thought they'd be a fun addition to my son's Easter morning Egg Hunt. The pack contained 3 glow in the dark eggs, 3 eggs on string, 3 eggs with suction cups and 3 stick anywhere eggs. When I opened the pack to hide the eggs, I realized that the "stick anywhere eggs" were nothing more than a egg with an extra large glue dot. I headed to my office and added glue dots to other eggs for the hunt. He loved it! I think his egg hunt was a bigger hit than his Easter basket.

Spring has Sprung
I have really enjoyed my Easter/Spring decorations. I thought I'd share a few pics before it's time to pack them up .
My husband built my banquette bench. I found a picture of one I liked in Better Home & Gardens and he copied it. I decorated it this spring with my Ironstone collection and spring decor. I absolutely love it!

Easter Chicks...
I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter. I cooked and cooked yesterday and was up at 5:00 this morning. Here is my creative addition to our lunch. It was pinterest inspired. I think they turned out cute and my family loved them. My Father-n-law even took a picture!

Oh so Pretty!
One of my sweet friends brought me flowers... These were beautiful centerpieces at her grandaughter's reception... I have enjoyed them all week long. A few of the stems were starting to look sad, so I rearranged them in a bud vase. Now this is a little much for a bud vase, but I couldn't let a single stem go to waste! Happy Easter Weekend!

Masterpieces by the Master
I have been enjoying the beauty of springtime, even if my allergies have not. I often look up at the sky and think...He painted a picture for me today. God's handiwork is evident! Psalm 19:1 says," The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.". I love to take sky pictures and probably have hundreds. I have tried to be selective in choosing the ones I post. Enjoy the beauty of the Master.

Think outside the box
Spring has sprung, well it will officially tomorrow! I am beyond ready for spring! Can't wait to get my hands in the dirt. My husband did some work in the yard this weekend, but I'm ready to move some things and plant some seeds. You don't have to have an enormous cutting garden to beautify your home. The smallest and simplest containers can be turned into bud vases adding that little pop of color and happiness to your room.
I rescued these Salt and Peppers from the trash, when we closed my Grandfather's restaurant.
They are going to be the perfect little bud vases to add to the table decor at my friends wedding.
I can't wait to go shopping for flowers with her. Of course, I will post a picture of the finished project, but until then here's a couple
of S&P bud vase pics I found online.

Gotta love technology = )
Shopping for antiques is one of my favorite things to do. I love strolling thorough the aisles, looking at all the vintage treasure. I always seem to find more treasure than my pocket book can afford, so my game plan is to browse before deciding which items I will take home that day! I take pictures of my favorites (making sure the tag is shown in the picture). This helps me keep in mind the price of the item and the booth # it was located in. I love that I have an iphone; i also use the internet to check out a label or stamp, insuring that the item is a good deal! Most cellphones have a camera now a days, but if yours doesn't; you can always bring your camera along.
